Common Problems During Pregnancy

With pregnancy comes some common issues. So if you are also facing them, don’t be upset as they are common. You can take few meaures to overcome them:

Nausea: Try eating small small meals after sometime. Don’t force yourself into three full meals rather eat something after every 2 hrs. Try to not keep your stomach empty for longer hours. Avoid eating outside and have a balanced diet.

Backache: Follow your doctor’s instructions in maintaining proper postures. Do not sleep for longer hours on your back. Turn left and right. Always get up by first turning on your left, do not stand straight as it burdens your back. Ask your doctor for exercises which can help you avoid backache.

Laziness: You feel lazy and tired most of the time. Listen to your body and take proper rest.

Leg Cramps: Stretch your legs while lying down. You need to increase your calcium. Consult your doctor. Have Coconut water, milk and drink lot of water.

Constipation: Increase the fibre in your diet. Have fruits rather than having juices.

Acidity: Drink lot of fluids. Avoid spicy food. Walk a little after meals. Don’t keep your stomach empty for longer hours. You can also take antacids after consulting your doctor.

Breathlessness: A very common discomfort which can be avoid by maintaining proper sleeping postures. Take a break if you are feeling breathlessness. Ask your doctor for exercises.

Swelling in the feet: Although normal as the months increases. Quite common in working ladies. Avoid standing and sitting for longer hours together. Keep your feet allevated whenever possible. Reduce salt intake. Consult your doctor as blood pressure can be a reason for swollen feet.
