These helps a body to fight diseases, loose weight, lower your cholesterol, blood pressure and also helps to maintain your blood sugar swings. They also helps in getting beautiful skin and hair. It is an important and healthy food to include in your daily diet. Here is a list of some Green Vegetables which you can include in your daily diet. You should also encourage the consumption of these vegetables in your kids as they help them build up their immunity. Leeks
1- Leeks: They can be added in vegetables, soups or can be eaten raw in salads. Leeks are low in calories and rich in vitamins and minerals.

2- Lettuce: A vegetable with all essential nutrients is good for health. They are extremely low in calories, full of vitamins. It also carries good amounts of minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, which are required for proper functioning of body metabolism.

They are considered to be low in calories and contains water and fat soluble anti-oxidant.
